Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Administrative Specialistto support the Kessel Run Division, which is within the USAF Digital Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
STATUS: Full-time; salaried
WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA
** Position has been approved for Hybrid work status whereby needing to go to Hanscom 2-3 times per week
RESPONSBILITIES:
- Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings.
- Prepares background information and invites required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy.
- Manages the Kessel Run Awards and Decorations program.
- Preparing factual, clear, concise, complete, and appropriately coordinated written communications.
- Ensures leadership is kept informed on all issues of interest that relate to the mission of the Directorate
- Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.
- Maintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution.
- Provides travel planning and execution support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience listed in job responsibilities above (2 of which must be DoD)
- Skill in applying widely used government software and familiarity with standard government operating capabilities such as MS Office, Suspense NET, and SharePoint preferred.
- Experience with Tongue & Quill is highly desired.
- Understanding processes, ranks, and chain of command
- Active US Security Clearance
