Millican & Associates, Inc. is a records and information management firm with over thirty (30) years of experience working with clients across a variety of industries and government agencies.

We are seeking a Records Management Analyst to provide Administrative and Records Management customer support to a large federal records program in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Records Management and administrative support to a federal agency.
  • Draft and review policies and training materials.
  • Provide content management support.
  • Support the transformation of agency Records Management processes for all major systems to address the challenges posed by electronic records.
  • Ensures that records/information assets are managed to ensure government accountability.
  • Identify and assign schedules/record disposition for documents in the program offices.
  • Recommend changes to, or creation of, processes and procedures supporting the records program, including electronic records and information governance.
  • Support training programs that ensure Department/Agency personnel are knowledgeable and kept current about Records Management principles and requirements.

  • Performs other duties related to the maintenance of the Records Management system.

Qualifications:

  • Must have five (5) years of Federal Records experience.
  • Ability and experience researching records requirements;
  • Knowledgeable of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) procedures and the General Records Schedule (GRS);
  • Familiarity and understanding of SOP's.
  • Must have basic understanding of frequently uses software and programs, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong organizational skills. Must be able to strategically organize meeting, events and tasks to keep productivity on task.
  • Excellent oral and written organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
