Administrative Nurse Manager
**This is a primary care office, with 6 physicians
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Hours: M-F 8:30am-5pm
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- Masters in nursing or health related field a plus
- BLS cert
- NY RN license
- Previous leadership/management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Power Point.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manages day-to-day operations including management of RNs, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and other support staff.
- Facilitates learning needs of self and staff by providing opportunities for staff development to gain skills necessary to provide care to patients and to ensure competency and current knowledge in the profession.
- Ensures that adequate written safety procedures, work instructions, emergency procedures, and operating instructions are issued to all nursing staff.
- Ensures all clinical licenses and other documentation are maintained and that the Department meets the guidelines for ACR, NYS DOH and Joint Commission.
- Manages the daily clinical and administrative activities of a designated nursing unit involving patient care delivery, staffing, budget preparation, and purchasing of equipment and supplies.
