SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant to the Head Football Coach, under general supervision, provides a broad range of administrative support to the various sports and services of the football team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Head Coach in scheduling meetings, responding to emails, and phone calls as needed.
- Assists Head Coach in creating practice plans organization, student athlete success, and equipment needs.
- Assists in recruiting efforts. Organizes on-campus visits by prospective student athletes. Provides tours of campus athletic facilities. Serves as a spokesperson and media relations liaison for assigned sport.
- Assists with summer camps.
- Monitors the eligibility of student athletes.
- Performs administrative duties as assigned by coach including scheduling any personal travel, keeping up with his calendar, etc.
- Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athlete: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality and other areas as deemed appropriate.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree with 7-10 years of experience as a Head Football Coach.
