- Apex Family Healthcare Services LLC a robust outpatient mental health clinic that provides clinical services to a diverse client population with mental health needs. The provider team consists of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologist and mental health counselors. The Clinic works closely with referral sources such as local hospitals with inpatient psychiatric programs and health centers. There are specialty psychiatrist that see geriatric patients, adults, adolescents, and children. The clinic provides over 20,000 visits a year and is expanding the scope of services provided. The Administrative Assistant/Client Services role is responsible for assigning and maintaining cases with clients and providers as well as other client service responsibilities.This is an intermediate level position requiring excellent customer service skills. It is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner and articulate phone voice. Internal and external contacts include patients, families, co-workers, physicians and the general public. Duties include:
Primary
- Must Be Able to Multitask
- Must Be Organized and A Self Starter
- Must Be Familiar with EMR and/or EHR systems
- Must Have Exceptional Communication Skills
- Liaison Between Patients and Providers
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to Type 50wpm
- Must Work Well in a Team Environment
- Must Be Able to Handle Patients with Mental illness
- Must be Punctual and Have Reliable Transportation.
Secondary:
- Assist with answering phones and scheduling appointments when needed
- Participate in Audit preparation and execution
Minimum Requirements: Experience in a mental health or medical environment
Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School Diploma and some post graduate education preferred.
