Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Director of Sales and Marketing of a 30- 30-year-old, family-owned wine distributor is seeking a full-time professional to act as the Administrative Assistant.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload. Bookkeeping responsibilities include the computing, classifying, and recording of financial transactions to ensure the financial records of the organization are accurate; performing routine financial calculations and general ledger duties; and checking the accuracy of calculations performed by other employees. This position may also be required to perform the functions of the Office Assistant job descriptions as needed. Essential Functions:
- Process supplier invoices
- Process end-of-week reports
- Process end-of-month reports
- Keep wholesale price grids and all related programs updated
- Update accounting with supplier allowances
- Coordinate supplier visits
- Liaison between the sales team, Operations, and the Sales Director
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing

Qualifications:
- Extensive working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
- Extensive working knowledge of Excel, including “formulas,” “conditional formatting,” “data validations,” “text to columns,” and creating tables and graphs, for example.
- Exceptional math skills
- Able to organize and manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Great note-taker and able to ask probing questions
- Critical thinking skills
- Able to lift 45lbs repeatedly
- NC Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
