HOURS: Monday- Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, some weekend and evenings

SALARY: $20 - $24 per hour

We do this through personalized Employment Services, Social Enterprises (Business Solutions) which provide employment for those needing supported employment, and Individual and Community Services like providing free laundry with the Laundry Truck and support in finding housing and accessing different resource programs through the help of our Navigators. DEPARTMENT
Bayaud Enterprises partners with Denver Department of Housing Stability (HOST) to conduct outreach and recruitment for a job readiness program, Denver Day Works (“DDW”), for individuals and families experiencing homelessness that are not currently engaged in other community programs. The overall purpose of this program is to provide support services and job readiness that may lead to employment in the community.
SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant assists in daily administrative duties of the Denver Day Works department including data entry, managing daily tracking of expenditures and supporting the field crew. This position will also act as a primary point of contact for participants entering Day Works and assist in determining their eligibility. This is a grant funded position.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position pays $20-$24 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Track documentation required for credit card receipts, gift card disbursement, and other expenditures daily.
Manage bus ticket and ECO pass distribution, purchases for individuals by staff, ensuring accuracy in distribution, collecting signatures and copies as mandated by funders.
Ensure accuracy in all paperwork and data entry.
Assist with new participant orientation weekly.
Complete client intakes on a weekly basis and assess program eligibility.
Facilitate daily payout for work crews, tracking available units on hand and ensure signatures are on the forms.
Ensure that participant data is collected and reported in participant database properly.
Complete data entry of new participant paperwork and upload files.
Maintain compliance with database policies and procedures.
Ensure all work logs, receipts, and other paperwork are filed appropriately.
Keep track of all expenditures in a budget tracker.
Assist in schedule management of program staff and client flow.
Serve as a backup for Field Leads, by being available to lead a crew on their worksite if needed.
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience in an administrative position
Exceptional understanding of Microsoft 365 and its various programs.
Demonstrated lived and/or work experience with vulnerable populations.
Demonstrated experience with data entry.
Demonstrated ability to track and report on financial matters.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information without breach.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with teammates and clients.
The candidate for this position should have comfort with crisis intervention, trauma informed care practices, supporting individuals experiencing poverty, homelessness, and disabilities as they strive to obtain and retain employment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid driver’s license. Must meet Motor Vehicle Requirements per Bayaud Enterprises Insurance Carrier, this is a condition of employment.
ALTERNATIVE WORK PLAN
This position is not eligible for an “Alternative Work Plan”. All duties must be performed in the office or in the community with participants. Special projects will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
