THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS AN ADMIN ASSISTANT

The normal program schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. However, program requirements may exceed 40 hours per week and normal program hours. Occasional travel within the five boroughs may be required.

You are responsible for managing our program calendar, which includes workshops, community events, and court dates. Collaborating closely with the Program Manager, you draft and dispatch program reminders using various communication channels. Additionally, you oversee budget allocations for participant essentials, transportation, cell phones, and program supplies under the guidance of the Sr. Director. Ensuring the accuracy of program data collection and documentation is also part of your role.

You facilitate the efforts of care coordinators, social workers, aftercare success coaches, and employment specialists. Serving as the central hub for program communications and deliveries, you expertly handle data entry into case management systems and track participant wellness surveys. You also support community events and administer social media accounts to contribute to participant success and satisfaction. To keep everyone informed, you craft and circulate our monthly program newsletter. You feel good doing your part to make a difference in our community!


OUR IDEAL ADMINISTRATION AIDE

The education and experience required:

  • Bachelors or associate degree with 2+ years of experience performing office-related tasks in a professional setting
  • Experience creating and maintaining organizational and tracking systems (spreadsheets, digital filing, contact lists, etc.)
