Your responsibilities
Design and deliver all systems learning and development solutions.
Communicate with internal employees and managers to discuss with them the technical issues they all are facing.
Identify the level of knowledge and experience that field service personnel have and create appropriate programs designed to develop the necessary skills to target and reduce gaps.
Lead training through in-person classes or online instruction.
Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
Assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
Ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
Formulate technical training needs to ensure that training solutions are proactive and support the strategic direction.
Teach training methods and skills to instructors and supervisors.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors.
Build network internally and externally for exchange of information, best practices and lessons learned.
Provide support and technical advice to colleagues in specific areas of expertise.
Support technical reviews and participates in core technical meetings.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a major in Electrical, Electro Mechanical or Computer engineering from an accredited institution.
12+ years of experience in field services, power delivery, technical training, or related experience.
Ability to read, correctly interpret, and apply electrical one-lines, schematics, and instruction manuals.
Knowledge of electrical distribution, power electronics, or control system design.
Familiarity with NFPA 70E.
Support HSE trainings: Electrical training programs, LOTO programs and implementation, fall protection, and other topics.
Ability to train, mentor and evaluate personnel, for the purpose of providing internal and external training.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for *** in the US.
