Position Overview

The Department of Curriculum & Instruction is hiring Adjunct Teaching Specialist or Adjunct Lecturer position for the Curriculum and Instruction Program. This is a temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P & A) position as a Teaching Specialist or Lecturer, paid on a per course basis. Applications are reviewed as openings occur, and individual applicants are invited to interview when their skills or areas of expertise match an opening. This posting is designed to establish a pool of instructors. Applications will not be acknowledged, but will be reviewed when such openings occur throughout the academic year.

The individual hired will be appointed to a Fall, Spring, Summer, or full year part time Teaching Specialist or Lecturer in Curriculum and Instruction during academic year 2024-25.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Development (100%)

  • Teach up to 4course credits per semester, dependent on credentials and expertise
  • Review and develop the current course materials and make adjustments to best meet the needs of the students and meet state requirements
