```Job Summary:
Responsible to the LPN Supervisor, Resident Care Director, Assistant Administrator and Administrator
- Provide assistance to residents in their activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with tub baths and showers.
- Assist with some aspects of daily hygiene, i.e.: combing hair, brushing teeth, making sure clothing is clean and suitable.
- Change beds according to Resident Care schedule.
- Assist residents with nail care.
- Supervise and assist toileting of those residents who require it.
- Prepare residents appropriately for meals in the dining room, providing the necessary assistance to get them there.
- Direct residents to proper locations in the building for recreational activities and meals and assist them when needed during activity/meal time.
- Assist with welcoming new admissions.
- Laundry responsibilities as scheduled.
- Assist with supervision and serving (SNALR) the dining room.
- Assist/accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.
- Assist residents with keeping their rooms neat, clean and orderly.
- Empty waste cans, clean bedrooms and bathrooms as needed.
- Convene with residents during their meals to allow for prompting and socialization on Special Needs ALR Unit.
- Will participate in employer orientation, in-service trainings and fire drills, emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Performance of other related duties as required.
```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver.
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic medical procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic) is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
