The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for our Game Department to teach 3D Game Production, a course that introduces students to the common 3D production practices for games. Students will develop a series of 3D assets for assembling in a chosen game engine. The curriculum will cover 3D modeling skills supporting hard surface practice, UV mapping strategies, trim sheets and modular workflows alongside process documentation. The successful candidate for this position will have direct experience in 3D production for games, with strong classroom management and community building skills. Desired candidates with a background in art and technology will be considered for this role. They will have extensive experience in the production of 3D artwork for games and have demonstrated work within industry game engines and capabilities using technology tools to facilitate and teach 3D development. This course is scheduled for in person sessions Mondays and Wednesdays, 12:30 - 3:15 PM (EST). The position will begin January 2024.
