Part-time CDL Instructors committed to community college students and their success. The Instructor will train students to have the knowledge in order to pass the commercial vehicle and driving exams and to obtain a career in the transportation industry by providing classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction and training students in basic operations of commercial motor vehicles.
Minimum qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED, along with evidence of successful completion of a CDL Program. Must have one (1) year of commercial motor vehicle driving experience in both CDL-A and CDL-B. Must have knowledge and understanding of the Department of Transportation (DOT), state and federal laws and regulations concerning operations of commercial motor vehicles, driving safety, and health practices.
