Addiction Counselor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Counselor to join our team. As an Addiction Counselor, you will provide assessment, counseling, and support to individuals struggling with addiction.

Duties

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the severity of addiction and develop personalized treatment plans

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address underlying issues contributing to addiction

- Utilize evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to help clients modify their behaviors and develop healthy coping mechanisms

- Offer crisis intervention services to clients in immediate need of support

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and case management documentation

- Collect data on client progress and treatment outcomes for evaluation purposes

Experience

- CADC or CADC Intern

-BA in Psych or Social Work field

-LAC

-LSW

-PEER RECOVERY SPECALIST ** a bonus
