About this Position:
The Social Media team is seeking a Social Media Senior Strategist to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive social marketing strategy for the Acura brand. You will be working closely with the Acura brand, other internal departments, and external partners to increase brand desire, support the brand's creative and digital efforts, and ultimately support sales.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as Acura's Social Media expert and advocate, maintaining a cutting-edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics for all existing and emerging platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Threads, Facebook, Twitter / X, etc.)
Develop and implement a cohesive Social Media strategy designed to achieve brand objectives, increase online presence, and increase web traffic.
Editorialize the brand through the lens of brand desire, marketing objectives, and pop culture to ensure relevance and resonance for our target audiences.
Partner with the marketing, PR, sales, and product planning teams on integrated plans to inform social editorial strategy and align with broader organizational goals (from ideation to approval to execution to analysis).
Supervise production shoots and event coverage.
Lead all social marketing strategies for Honda and Acura Social Media channels' motorsports content
Collaborate closely with global and domestic Honda and partner/industry contacts to develop Social Media content opportunities and drive messaging strategies for a variety of racing series and a range of audiences
Identify customer-first content opportunities to tie the company's racing initiatives to mass-production vehicles in order to build brand desire
Identify and evaluate potential Social Media vendors and select the most suitable partners for the organization's needs.
Negotiate terms, agreements, and service level expectations with vendors, ensuring they align with the organization's goals.
Define and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to vendors, specifying the expected results and outcomes.
Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring that vendors understand the organization's brand, culture, and guidelines.
Manage the budget allocated for vendor services and track expenses to ensure they align with the agreed-upon contract.
Foster positive and collaborative relationships with vendors, which can lead to better results and long-term partnerships.
Assess vendor performance periodically and make decisions about contract renewal, renegotiation, or termination.
Address any disputes, issues, or conflicts with vendors in a professional and timely manner to maintain a positive working relationship.

Required Work Experience:
7-10 years of experience in communications, marketing, Social Media management
In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms (specifically, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), their functionalities, and best practices
Deep understanding of automotive and motorsports industries
4 years experience working with large companies
Required Education:
BA / BS in marketing, communications, or related work experience
Desired skills:
Paid, owned, and earned Social Media proficiency
Experience in mitigating and resolving brand risk and crises
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to identify potential opportunities and risks within Social Media activities
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and industry trends
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
Creative thinker with a keen eye for design aesthetics
Proficient in analyzing data and extracting insights to improve Social Media performance

Total Rewards:
Competitive base salary $ 79,700 - $ 119,600
- Pay will be based on several variables that include, but are not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
