What is an Activity Assistant?
- NLACS Activity assistants are people who organize and execute activities in different settings for Seniors that live in an independent Living Community.
Who will I work with?
- You will work with independent living Seniors in a 65+ community.

What are my requirements for this job?
- A smile and the willingness to exhibit a happy attitude while at work (required)
- Creativity and great customer service (required)
- Assist with planning, prepping, scheduling, and coordinating engaging activities.
- Engage and lead Seniors with daily fun activities throughout the day.
- Work with the Activity Lead Team to organize and execute a monthly calendar, weekly updates, and participate in daily activities that are engaging and age appropriate.
What qualifications do I need?
- High school diploma.
- Experience working with seniors
- Ability to pass a background check. You are working with a senior citizen population.
- Physical fitness, ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands.
- Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
- Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
