Activities Assistant

• Basic First Aid and CPR and Dementia Certificates within 60 days from the date of hire (we will pay for the Dementia certification through the National Institute for Dementia Education (NIDE).

You will be responsible for facilitating the welfare and healthy adjustment of the Memory Care residents to their new environment. Under the Director, this role shall assist with resident programs of meaningful physical, interpersonal, cognitive, and nutritional activities, recognizing the individuality and well-being of each resident.

Licensing/* _Certification_*: Valid state driver’s license to operate all vehicles on site within 60 days from date of hire; and Basic First Aid and CPR within 60 days from date of hire. We will help you get trained!

Working Environment / Physical Duties:

• Memory Care community common areas and resident apartments primarily.
• Company automobiles to include multi-passenger car, van and/or bus; external community retail shops, restaurants, parks, etc. secondarily.
• Decorate all common areas for the monthly theme
• Publish monthly newsletter for the community residents, families, and external professionals.
• Help with events, activities, community celebrations and holidays.
