```Responsibilities```
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational activities for residents
- Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop a monthly activity calendar
- Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercises, and outings
- Provide one-on-one support to residents who may require additional assistance
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Event planning: Ability to organize and coordinate various activities for residents
- Care: Understanding of the needs and preferences of older adults in a nursing home setting
- Recreational therapy: Knowledge of therapeutic techniques to enhance physical and mental well-being through recreational activities
- Aging issues counseling: Ability to provide emotional support and guidance to residents facing challenges related to aging
- Schedule management: Strong organizational skills to effectively manage activity schedules and ensure timely implementation
- Social work: Familiarity with social work principles and practices to address the social and emotional needs of residents
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Caregiving: Experience in providing personal care assistance to individuals with varying needs
- Memory care: Understanding of memory care techniques for residents with cognitive impairments
