Joy of Life Adult Day Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Activities Aide to join our team to assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating recreational programs for our clients.
The Activities Aide will work either alone or with others (under direct supervision of Activities Director) to set up and lead group activities, and to document client participation. Other duties include preparing for events, organizing and maintaining supply storage areas, bringing clients to and from group activities, decorating for holidays and events, Assist Clients in Activities in Daily Living,
Applicants must maintain a high level of organizational skills, initiative, creativity and professional communication. Compassion and understanding for the elderly is a must.
Qualifications:
- Must be minimum of 21 years of age
- 1 year of Activity Aide experience
- Successful clearance of background checks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.25 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
