Here at Shawnee Senior Living we are looking for a fun, caring and compassionate person to work as an Activities Assistant with our wonderful residents!! It will be evening shift through the week and weekends will be day hours for the outings.
Job Duties for Activities Assistant:
- Effectively provide activities that provide entertainment, exercise, fun or relaxation for residents and meet identified resident satisfaction goals.
- Assists in planning and conducting resident group activities and room visits.
- Maintains activities calendar as required by Activities Director.
- Effectively encourages resident participation in activities.
- Involve residents and their families in planning activities and setting goals for the resident.
- Going on transports with the residents to and from outings
- Complete recreation progress notes and all other required documentation
- Implement and lead activities of therapeutic recreation according to monthly schedule and scheduled hours
- Collecting and delivering the mail to the residents
- Driving residents to and from activities. (Will be trained)
- Follow all safety procedures/Department of Public Health regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 per hour
