We are currently looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team!

The Activity Assistant at Cedar Ridge Inn plays an important and trusted role in the lives of our residents and their families. As the Activity Assistant, they will assist the director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of the facility.

Qualifications:

• Must possess, at a minimum, a High School diploma
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Pass background check.

Performance Tasks:

• Encourage residents to enhance their educational development through reading, etc.
• Provide information to residents/families as to the activity programs available to the resident.
• Encourage hobbies and crafts and provide materials to residents for activities.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the department.
