Job Description
The Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) for Advanced Practice and Nursing Research has broad expertise in advanced practice healthcare and will provide leadership for advanced practice providers. Contributes to efficient and effective patient care throughout the organization through close collaboration with advanced practice providers (APP), department leaders, and collaborating physicians. Helps establish a learning environment that is conducive to the provision of educational and research experiences for nurses, APPs, and nursing students. Develops and maintains productive and collaborative relationships with physicians, hospital leaders, and clinical nursing faculty.
Minimum Requirements

• Doctorate in nursing either a DNP or PhD.
• Possess and maintains current Missouri licensure.
• Licensed as Advanced Practice Provider.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Possess and maintain certification in the clinical area of advanced practice.
• Maintain an active clinical practice of at least 10% of 1.0 FTE.
• A minimum of five years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse and current certification.
• A minimum of five years of leadership experience.
• Privileged to provide services as part of the organization's Medical Staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze information and formulate effective plans for using information. Sound judgment is sufficient to ensure the integrity of operations. Considerable skill in facilitating problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, including a high degree of professionalism and personal presence.
• Considerable skills in problem-solving and time management.
