The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will oversee a team of Accounts Receivable professionals to ensure prompt and accurate processing and application of customer payments. The Accounts ReceivableSupervisor is responsible for all revenue and Accounts Receivable transactions in SAP to support the Finance Department's monthly quarterly and annual reporting processes.
- Creation, management, and oversight of all work processes and policies of the department.
- Management and oversight the AR team with timely posting on payments into ERP (SAP) and to be point of escalation for the team.
- Monitor and facilitate daily Accounts Receivable operations, provide direction, set priorities, and oversee team performance.
- Development and management of recurring reporting and KPIs to be sent to Senior management.
- Partner with Sales and Collections to communicate and provide visibility on receipts from customers.
- Develop training materials for processes and procedures and implements training curriculum.
- Manage allocation of workload among the team and cross train individuals to support in other facets of the AR team
- Utilize and become a subject matter expert on the collection's platform, Quadient AR (f.k.a. YayPay).
- Serve as internal escalation to research and reconcile escalated invoice payment disputes in a timely manner.
- Main contact for customer inquiries on balances and to troubleshoot with internal billing team regarding issues relating to invoices.
- Drive enhancements and consistencies with procedures and ensure team is following proper internal controls.
- Continue to define and foster a positive team culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred
- In lieu of degree, 4 years of relative experience
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferred
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
- Displayed ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Knowledge of SAP or similar system
- Proficient with EXCEL, Access, Word, PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of initiative and motivation
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner
- Continuous improvement orientation
- Travel when required
