Key Responsibilities and Functions
Complete all aspects of the Accounts Receivable and Revenue cycle.
- Create and process invoices.
- Enter payments into Quickbooks.
- Process, submit, and follow up of long-term care insurance claims.
- Process, submit and record billings to the Veteran's Administration.
- Follow up on any payment discrepancies.
- Correct and/or reprocess claims within timely filing limits.
- Document all activity on accounts in a clear, accurate and consistent manner.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable, aging, and collection efforts.
- Advise Director of any billing errors, payer trends in claims processing, denials or payment fluctuations to ensure proper handling and escalation as necessary.
- Assist and maintain office banking services.
Assist with HR functions
- Set up new employees in payroll system.
- Input data into payroll system.
- Process pay raises.
- Maintain Redirect Health records
- Maintain 401k Human Interest records
General office functions
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of assigned Agency's policies and procedures.
- Answer phone calls and address/refer inquiries; take messages and email correspondences as needed.
- Prepare outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mail
- Maintain files, documents, and audit support for year-end audits
- Work in conjunction with other departments including but not limited to Client Services.
- Other duties as assigned by Director.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in account receivables or human resources
- Ability to interact on a positive basis with all levels of staff and clients.
- Ability to prioritize and concentrate on task on hand with accuracy.
- Must be comfortable navigating through a variety of software programs.
- Experience with Quickbooks and Excel required.
- Ability to make sound decisions and meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively problem-solve and be detail-oriented.
