Accounts Payable Supervisor

TTI, Inc. is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor at our Corporate office in Northwest Fort Worth, TX.
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is accountable for supervising the overall full cycle Accounts Payable function to ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers in the Americas. This position will be responsible for assisting with hiring, training, and supervising the Accounts Payable team. This role will assist the Accounts Payable Manager with maintaining systems, procedures, policies, and personnel to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable function by ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to. Assists the Accounts Payable Manager in leading the Accounts Payable team to meet established department goals with a focus on a continuous improvement.
• Responsible for actively monitoring the processing and payment status of all supplier invoices and payments. Resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
• Responsible for timely response to supplier and internal customer inquiry and problem resolution.
• Effectively supervises Accounts Payable Leads and team members by assigning and delegating accountabilities, and by providing ongoing guidance. Responsible for assisting the Account Payable Manager in hiring qualified staff, utilizing effective communication and motivational techniques, providing ongoing performance supervision, and by providing effective training. Ensures Accounts Payable team is informed and up to date on all current procedures and directives.
• Serves as the Accounts Payable Department central point of contract for outside auditors by responding to questions and request for information/data in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assists the Accounts Payable Manager with special projects as requested in a timely and quality manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree required. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., accounting) preferred. A minimum of 3 years' AP Supervisor experience required (supervising a team of 7+) and a minimum of 5 years' Accounts Payable experience required. Experience working within large, modern ERP systems (i.e., Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft), EDI invoice processing, and Document Imaging Software or AI Software is required.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated proficiency in the following Microsoft applications
• Solid understanding of the full- cycle Accounts Payable process.
• Advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP
• Solid understanding of the full- cycle Accounts Payable process.
• Ability to supervise staff, with solid decision-making skills including ability to analyze impact of decisions before execution.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high transaction environment with strong organizational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Possess strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively document processes and procedures.
• Exhibit a strong customer service focus with a strong sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.
• Understanding the 3Way matching process in AP
• 10-key by touch and strong data entry skills.

Kofax - Document Imaging- OCR and AI technology in AP Environment

• Oracle Cloud Fusion environment
• Mainframe
