The Accounts Payable Supervisor responsibilities will include direct supervision of assigned staff, vendor invoice workflow process, check run approvals, bank reconciliations, supplier invoice processing, reconcile out of balance issues, and administration of Travel and Entertainment/Purchasing Card programs.
On a regular and continuous basis, exercise administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area.
Ensure vendor/supplier invoices and payments are processed timely and accurately.
Administer Travel and Entertainment/Purchasing Card programs via Concur, research transactions as needed and develop reporting to assist local management in evaluating expenses.
Research and help resolve vendor and supplier questions.
Adhere to company controls in all areas including maintenance of Vendor Master List.
Assist with projects, audits, and process improvement, as needed.
Month end and other periodic reconciliation analysis and reporting.
Establish development plans for staff.
Ensure Alcohol Beverage Control compliance as state law dictates.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, finance, accounting, or related experience; or High School Diploma and 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, finance, accounting, or related experience.
Ability to organize own work, setting priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with co-workers, managers, and subordinates to convey information and to receive work direction.
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Professional written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
