Cabot’s first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, is situated on 1,200 acres of rolling land and will include Cabot’s signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations and real estate opportunities. Opening in 2023, Cabot Citrus Farms will feature two revitalized 18-hole courses, an 11-hole par-3 course, an unconventional 10-hole course, a new clubhouse and extensive practice facilities. The property is a short 50-minute drive from Tampa and an 80-minute drive from Orlando. While close to urban amenities, the property sits in the central-west region of Florida aptly known as the Nature Coast. Visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking, biking and nature trails at neighboring Withlacoochee State Forest, spring-fed rivers and bountiful lakes at Crystal River, and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Position Overview:

As Accounts Payable Specialist at Cabot Citrus Farms, you will be joining a new and growing team. This role will mainly support the Senior Accountant, and also the Staff Accountant team. The main responsibility of this role is to lead the Accounts Payable function from end-to-end. In addition, the role will also support the Senior Accountant with ad-hoc request related to the AP role.

The Profile:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant of Cabot Citrus Farms, the Accounts Payable Specialist displays a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, and enthusiasm. Securing and protecting files to ensure information is never compromised and adhering to Cabot’s security procedures with respect to assigned authorities and responsibilities is exhibited by the Accounts Payable Specialist in all daily tasks. Any unusual occurrences to be reported to the CFO immediately. The Accounts Payable Specialist is a member of the team providing support to the operating teams to deliver on the brand’s mission to “Create Magical Places Where Remarkable Memories are Made”.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and code invoices accurately, congruent with the budget, ensuring timely entry into the accounting system
• Ensure timely communication with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships over email and over the phone
• Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data of outstanding payables
• Organize and maintain Accounts Payable records digitally in a clear manner
• Collaborate with various member of the accounting team to support month-end closing and related tasks
• Always aim to improve AP processes to simplify and increase the accuracy of the process
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and service standards
• Complete other special projects and duties as assigned by the accounting team
• Consistently show the ability to recognize and deal with priorities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or financial role
• Proven knowledge of accounting industry-leading accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks,
• Business Central) and comfortable with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Eagerness to always improve and optimize processes
• High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality

• Occasionally standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, twisting
