The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the Accounts Payable function.
Essential job functions
Process invoices for payment through Concur including receive, submit, code, acquire approval, check for accuracy, and approve for payment
Code invoices to job numbers, understand and code expense types
Prepare weekly open bills reports and complete check runs
Generate wires and positive pay submissions
Manage vendor profiles
Assure invoices and payments are accurately reflected in NetSuite
Record other automatic bills and payments
Gather, enter, and save new vendor and contractor information into NetSuite and ContractWorks
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Monitor Concur connector issues - create and respond to support tickets
Adhere to TA’s information security standards, as outlined in company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Basic Skills Required
Accounts payable and/or accounting experience
Data entry experience
Experience with NetSuite and/or Concur a plus
Knowledge of Accounts Payable principles, practices, and processes
Knowledge of business and accounting principles and practices
Works well on a team and in an environment with firm deadlines
Detail oriented
