SalaryThis position is a vital part of our law firm's Accounting Department, focusing on Accounts Payable processes. Responsibilities include managing vendor invoices, adhering to financial policies, and meticulously recording transactions. You'll reconcile the Accounts Payable ledger, ensure accurate posting of bills, and address discrepancies. Reporting and familiarity with GL expense accounts, cost centers, and compliance matters, such as W-9 forms and legal-specific sales tax, are crucial. Daily tasks involve reviewing and approving Expense Reimbursement reports and occasional collaboration with our legal team and billing department.
Candidates should have 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. We value motivation, alignment with firm goals, dependability, and teamwork, as well as excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. A High School Diploma is required. Prior experience in the legal industry is advantageous.
