Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Green River, WY
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate invoice posting to proper accounts
- Ensure that invoices are properly authorized
- Compliance with sales tax regulations
- Control vendor master data
- Maintain professional manner when dealing with vendors
- Comply with IRS income reporting rules (1099)
Activities:
- Process invoices consistent with Controllers Operating
- Standards - SOX Procedures
- Ensure that appropriate discounts and payment terms are maintained
- Timely resolution of vendor questions
- Research unmatched invoices and resolve
- Research missing information on invoices
- Route invoices for signature
- Maintain Consignment and ERS accounts
- Void and reissue checks
- Maintain invoice filing system including Fortis
- Audit and pay expense reports
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash
- Support Responsible Care program
- Position will provide site relief for non-exempt clerical positions on an as-needed, assignment basis
Skill, Capability, and Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years financial related experience or equivalent education
Final determination on pay grade will be made by HR and company leadership consistent with the skills matrix and considering the candidates education, experience, past performance, demonstrated leadership, and influence.
