Accounts Payable Assistant Manager

LOCATION: Hybrid – St. Petersburg, FL

Our opening for an Accounts Payable Assistant Manager is available now, but it won’t last long! This full-time, non-exempt position will be a part of the Fantastic AccountingDepartment to post journal entries, update financial statements, maintain accounts receivable and Accounts Payable, pay monthly payroll, and prepare financial reports. TheAccounts Payable Assistant Managerwill report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter invoices, expense reports, and credit memos into the Accounting system
• Process Accounts Payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments
• Ensures proper authorization is obtained for all invoices, expense reports, and check requests
• Ensures accurate and timely reconciliation of all vendor accounts to vendor statements
• Process year-end 1099s
• Process and reconcile monthly broker commissions
• Provide support to our Accounting Team with day-to-day accounting tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of online banking
• Stays organized and can multi-task with proficiency
• Practices excellence in written as well as verbal communication
• Works well with a dynamic team and adapts easily to changes and process improvements
• Demonstrates an open-minded, collaborative work style with a diverse service team
• Strives to meet goals and deadlines consistently
• Extremely detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in a relevant experience role in a fast-paced environment
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable and month-end close procedures
• NetSuite experience a plus
• Experience with GAAP
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• PEO or ASO experience is a plus

The salary range targeted for this position is listed below. However, you should know that the pay rate may vary based on regional location, the candidate’s skill, and relevant experience. In addition, some positions may include a form of bonus or other incentive compensation, which would not be included in this salary range.

Hourly Rate Range: $31.00 - $33.00
