JOB TITLE:ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (AP) ADMINISTRATOR

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the AP Administrator is responsible for supporting the AP department with all administrative duties.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Supports AP with all administrative duties
- Manage AP email inboxes (NTE, Check Requests, New Vendor Setup, and AP Unresolved) replying to vendors and branches in a timely manner
- Prints and distributes all invoices to AP specialists for entry processing
- Corresponds with vendors providing invoice and payment status updates
- Requests vendor statements and reconcile as needed
- Scans in processed AP batches daily and save accordingly
- Scans all Vendor Statements-Reconcile and file away
- Files away all hard copy AP batches for department
- Competes check runs: prepare checks to be mailed out, scan, and file away check run, distribute checks
- Receive and distribute incoming USPS mail in regards to the AP department
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must have 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent, College courses in accounting preferred
- Must have a strong work ethic with a team player attitude
- Must be punctual in all job activities
- Must have effective business writing and professional communication skills
- Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related computer skills
- Must have effective customer service skills
- Must have professional mannerism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have the ability to multi task, be spontaneous in desk duties, and prioritize job requests
- Preferably have experience with Equipment Rental software (Rental Man)
