Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 5 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper.
• Experience working with accounts payable, accounts receivable, the general ledger, payroll, and payroll reports.
• Experience with cash flow analysis and financial auditing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and make decisions based on financial data.
• Proficiency with computation/submission of income taxes, sales taxes, payroll taxes and wage garnishments, and benefit administration
• Proficiency in Accounting Software, Microsoft Office, and Excel
• Ability to learn new software quickly.

Job description

Looking for a full-time Accounting and Payroll Manager who can work effectively on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and who is reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities include customer billing and job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, budgeting and cashflow. Responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledger and producing accurate and up-to-date financial reports on a monthly basis and as needed/requested by management.

Responsible for bi-weekly, in-house payroll, remitting taxes and wage garnishments, and generating/filing monthly, quarterly, and annual federal and state tax forms.

Candidates must be organized, disciplined, possess the ability to communicate effectively, handle confidential information daily, and be driven to work well with others.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
