Job Title: Accounting/Payroll Manager
Worksite Address: Alpena, South Dakota
Status: Full-Time (Monday-Friday) Weekends free to be with familiy and friends!

Job Summary:
The Accounting/Payroll Manager is responsible for financial tasks for Alpena Coop Service. This will include bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Duties will include accounts payable, reconciliations, and managing Alpena Coop’s payroll process. This position will also oversee accounts receivables.
Responsibilities & Duties:
-Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
-Maintain daily financial transactions
-Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them
-Manage payroll activities
-Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external providers and vendors
Essential Skills and Experience:
-Accounting and Payroll experience preferred
-Proficiency in or knowledge of using a Quick Books, Quicken and Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word software
-Knowledge of office administration procedures
-Ability to operate most standard office equipment
-Ability to work independently and as a team member
-Organizational skills
