Accounting/Data Entry Clerk

We are currently seeking an entry level, full-time Accounting/ Data Entry Clerk for our TEN time 2023 awarding winning family-owned company! Will you join our winning team?

The successful candidate will possess the ability to prioritize, be detail oriented and organized in order to meet deadlines. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and have the ability to work in a team environment. Must possess the ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision and must be able to interact with staff in various departments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter and reconcile accounts payable vendor invoices to supporting documentation
• Cost invoices in system for payment
• Contact vendors to resolve accounts payable issues
• Maintain documentation to support resolution of issues
• Record and reconcile assigned cash receipts and accounts receivable
• Ability to work on special projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma
• Accounting degree or Accounts Payable experience not required but a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
• Desire to grow and expand both in knowledge and responsibility
• Effective team player
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software
• Experience with Great Plains a plus
