Job description

Inclusively is partnering with a multinational communications, advertising, public relations, technology, and commerce holding company to hire a Supervisor, Client Accounting. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**
ABOUT INCLUSIVELY:

Reporting to the Managing Director, FinancePlus USA (FPUS), major responsibilities include the monthly close process and the Group's adherence to risk and control processes. Currently manage a staff of 8 employees with potential for growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership and management of the Accounting/Finance team, responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, and developing the needs of the team.
Manage the monthly control process; responsible for SOX adherence, internal, and external audit support and coordinating both financial and IT audits.
Partner with the business units to continuously improve the services, accuracy, and timing of the monthly close.
Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and metrics.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
Work with our Tax to ensure compliance with all tax reporting requirements including income tax, sales and use tax, and BEAT.
Manage general ledger processes and procedures including creating and posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
Provide environment in which outside auditors from clients, tax authorities and our company can perform their duties in an efficient and successful manner.
Provide strong customer service to all agencies.
Define and monitor service levels of the shared services center and continuously work to improve performance.
Ensure handling of complex issues and escalate as needed.
Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company and Group guidelines.
Work with our treasury to ensure proper access is administered across the group and security measures are upheld.
Assist in the preparation of the FPUS Budgets, Forecasts and Strategic Plan.
Participate in the Company's Performance Management Process by establishing goals and providing on-going feedback to support recognition and improvement as it relates to employee development.
Assist in any additional ad hoc projects as directed by the Managing Director, FPUS.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA required.
Minimum of 5 years of functional and operational management experience with a focus on process standardization and improvement, strong command of IFRS, SOX controls and process management.
Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
Strong management skills with the ability to influence, manage and mentor teams internally and across different disciples.
Strong client service orientation.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment and work in cross-functional teams.
Excellent professional judgment, tact, and decision-making ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
