Accounting Software Support Representative

J. Knutson & Associates, Inc is offering a Full Time/Hybrid position in Technical Customer Support/Construction ERP Accounting Software at our Maplewood MN location. J. This individual will be responsible for:
- Providing support and training to our customers on our suite of Construction Related ERP Business and Accounting software.
- The support position includes answering questions about how the software works, troubleshooting problems the customer may be having, research of problems, handling enhancement requests.
- Provide Training – consisting of giving organized instruction – usually one-on-one over the phone/internet to end users over multiple sessions.
- Interacting with other departments including management as needed.
- Logging all calls, requests and completed work.
- Keeping in contact with customers

- Knowledge of other Construction Accounting Systems is a plus such as:

Deltek, Viewpoint, Sage, Jonas or Foundation

Skills Required:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• - Excellent communication skills including written and oral- Be able to deal with customers in a clear and organized manner - Be a “people-person” with good interpersonal skills- Be a good listener- Be assertive- Be a Team Player- Willing to learn new technology as it becomes available- Willing to take on new tasks as deemed necessary

Preferred Skills and Education:

• Advanced Computer Skills
• Computerized accounting systems including: payroll processing, accounts receivable, Job Costing, General Ledger
• Advanced skills such as AIA billing, Union reporting is beneficial

Knowledge of Construction Accounting Systems is a plus, such as:

Deltek, Viewpoint, Sage, Jonas or Foundation
