Job Description:
In your position as a Senior Consultant, you will provide FIAR and RMIC support to the client. You will also:

• Provide audit support during the annual Independent Public Auditor (IPA) audit cycle.
• During annual IPA audit cycle and as needed, assist FIAR team with collecting, compiling, and reviewing all Key Supporting Documentation (KSD) and other documents (emails, memo for records, other authorization documents) for submittal in response to all data calls.
• Prepare a listing of the client's universe of transactions to perform data analytics, collect data populations and/or samples for sustainment testing, and business segment data by accessible units.
• Assist in conducting annual and ongoing internal testing across all business segments.
• Support the review of KSDs to verify asset valuation for serialized capital assets.
• Develop/update audit communication plans to outline testing requirements, to include review of key supporting documentation and preparation of sample packages for submission.
• Conduct a review of internal controls metrics for each business segment to include Complementary User Entity Controls (CUEC) Guides.
• Research and reconcile accounting transactions as discovered when reviewing sample submissions during the annual IPA audit cycle. This requires analyzing the problem at the transaction level and identify solutions and corrective actions.
• Support development and implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as a result of the annual IPA audit Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs).
• Review and advise on financial policy and instructions.
• Assist in the development of white papers.
• Support Business Process Improvement (BPI/BPS).
• Support system interfaces and data mapping, analyzing the flow of data through various interfaces and system processes, with the end state of eliminating/reducing the need for manual entries into the financial system.
• Assist in the development of the annual Statement of Assurance (SOA).
• Assist with development or updating of RMIC deliverables: MAU Organizational Chart, ELC Matrix, Payment Integrity Matrix, and CUEC Workbook.

Required Skills:

• Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required.
• 5 years of full-time experience within the past 10 years in accounting/management consulting with DoD entities (DON, USSOCOM, NSW), including experience reviewing financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) (or similar ERP) and Accountable Property System of Record (DPAS) (or similar), and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• 5 years of experience in audit response and remediation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
