The Cincinnati Insurance Company is seeking a Reinsurance Senior Accountant in our P&C Accounting department. The Senior Accountant will provide knowledge and experience in both assumed and ceded reinsurance accounting, and design and manage IT projects within the department.

Salary: The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

• prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance ceded and assumed closings
• accounting, administration, and regulatory reporting of the company's reinsurance portfolio
• make decisions and recommendations for varied situations applying judgment to interpret related information, policies, and procedures
• work independently under general supervision
• work with other internal and external organizations or parties frequently which may include persuasion and negotiation skills

Be equipped with:

• knowledge commensurate with at least 5 years of reinsurance accounting experience strongly preferred
• requires experience with design and administration of Reinsurance Accounting Software, preferably SAP Operating system FSRI and FSCD.
• requires attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, analytical experience and PC skills required, advanced knowledge of Excel
