Job description

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Accounting with cross functional general ledger accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.

Essential Duties:

  • Direct oversight of allocations including being accountable for transfer pricing entries
  • Prepare/review monthly journal entries including but not limited to bonus accruals, revenue, accounts receivable, and expense reporting accruals.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as well as review accounts receivable balance sheet reconciliations
  • Build and maintain allocation rules in Oracle Fusion
  • Preparation of monthly reports and analysis for inclusion in monthly reporting package.
  • Responsible for development, maintenance, and revision, as necessary, of all processes within the Accounting Department. This includes assisting in the coordination of internal controls testing and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
  • Assist with requests as needed in connection with quarterly reviews and the annual financial statement audit.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting or finance environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High degree of integrity when responsible for confidential information
  • Experience with SOX controls
  • Ability to adapt to new situations, work well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.

Hire Range/Rate:

$76,500 - $100,000

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
