Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant and Office Admin to join our team! This position will play an integral role on our team working interdepartmentally to ensure proper cashflow.
Responsibilities:
- AR including contract support (monitoring: invoicing & bill aps, actual to budget reporting, change orders, collections, QB updates, account status reporting)
- Accounts payable (cashflow, credit card reconciliation & classification, negotiating terms, communication & relationship building)
- Budget data entry into Quickbooks - cashflow management, maintain healthy ratios, P&L, balance sheet
- Payroll and Certified payroll (DIR communications, emars, elations, lcp tracker, etc)
- Compliance: business lics, insurance renewals, bonds, general contractors lics, endorsements, certifications
- Filing and office support: Customer files, notarize, mail pickup
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Accounting degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in accounting in the construction industry
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong business communication skills
