Who We're Looking For:
EmpiRx Health is in unprecedented growth, and we're seeking an Accounting Manager with a background in Public Accounting.  In this critical role, you will support the VP of Finance and Controller to ensure that the organization is compliant with GAAP and tax regulations.

What You'll Do:
As an Accounting Manager, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:

• Lead the partnership with external audit and tax teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of year-end audit and required tax filings.
• Maintain proficiency with GAAP and research standards applicable to our organization.  
• Calculate member distributions and ensure timely payments.
• Process payroll and assist with various employee-sensitive tasks and projects.
• Support other members of the Finance Team with budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with the management of cash flow and liquidity.
• Ensure adequate levels of insurance are maintained, and work with Broker on renewals.
• Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system.
• Support M&A activities by integrating acquisitions and streamlining processes.

What You Need:

• At least 5 years of progressive Accounting experience
• 2 plus years of business tax experience in a Public Accounting Firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Excellent financial analytical skills combined with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work to meet deadlines; adapt and be flexible in a complex changing environment.
• Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives; an ability to problem solve and facilitate solutions with limited direction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced Excel skills required
• 2 plus years of business tax experience focusing on taxes for LLC’s, preferred
• CPA preferred
