Accounting Manager

Full Job Description

We are a fast paced, rapidly growing company and have an immediate opening for Accounting Manager at our corporate office in Pomona, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Provide financial analyses (actual vs budget vs prior year).
• Prepare budgets and projections.
• Responsible for accounts receivable collections. Monitor daily cash collection. Review aging balances, credit limits and insurance coverages. Interact with salesmen and customers. Arrange payment plans for delinquent accounts. Produces weekly and monthly intervals receivables cash projection report. Supervise one staff in collections.
• Co-ordinate and assist in year end CPA audit and bank audits
• Sales tax, business licenses and regulartory filings.
• Provide data for income tax return filing
• Process improvement and automation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience showing job stability and career progression.
• We are currently using Great Plains and are in the process of implementing Odoo ERP system. Accounting Manager will be an integral part of this conversion. Must be ERP systems savvy.
• Ability to query and extract data.  Must have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-look up, queries, etc.)
• Must come from manufacturing, retail, distribution or ecommerce industry
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting from accredited US university is required.
• Attention to detail and work accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and work in fast paced environment is essential.
• Ability to work independently and in team and deliver accurate work product on time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
