Job Description and Responsibilities
Our busy accounting department is looking for an experienced Full Charge Legal Bookkeeper to assist
our established firm. Candidate will:
- Have 3 years or more experience as a full charge bookkeeper
- Serve as controller for the firm , which would include preparing a list of reports concerning the firm’s KPI’s.
- Coordinate with the law firm’s CPA’s to ensure that all financial reports are completed and tax payments are made
- Manage firm’s various insurance coverage, employee benefits, including the firm’s 401K and profit sharing plans.
- Serve on the firm’s executive leadership committee as the financial leader to advise partners on cash flow needs, financial performance, progress towards goals, suggestions for better financial measures,, performance, products, etc…
- Calculate various attorney and partner performance based bonus plans and calculate profits due to partners, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Required); Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
QuickBooks certified or a minimum of 3 years of QuickBooks Online experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Plaintiff Law Firm
Proficient with meticulous data entry
Expert in MS Excel and computer savvy
Firm grasp of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Any
preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in
identifying top candidates.
Salary Range – 75k – 95k Annually
