Large national self-performing facility care companies in looking to an Accounting Manager to their team. The Accounting Manager position is accountable for the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, accounts payable, accounts receivable, overseeing daily and monthly cash receipts, bank reconciliations and month end close. Reports to the Director of FP&A

This is a direct hire position paying a salary between $90,000 - $105,000 based on experience located close to the airport in Charlotte NC.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day accounting for the organization, including:
  • Accounts Receivable and Cash Collections
  • Accounts Payable and PO process
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Payroll and Time Keeping
  • Asset and Liability Reporting
• Systems Integrations, Sales Force integration
• Assist in preparing monthly and year-end financial reporting package
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
• Maintain and verify accurate balance sheet accounts monthly
• Review financials with CFO, Director of FP&A, and Operation Managers as needed
• Establishing and maintaining internal controls
• Managing all aspects of the general ledger
• Assist in Analyzing and reviewing cost variances
• Coordinating or assisting with the budget process
• Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and assist with accounting policy update
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and internal controls
• Serve as a liaison to external auditors
• Coordinate financial audits with the Director of FP&A
• Collaborate with all business teams to resolve challenges and opportunities

Primary Performance Measurements:

1. Monthly and yearly close completed 100% on time

2. Company stays cash solvent and meets investor covenants

3. Resolution of conflicts within 48 hours of invoicing issues

Requirements:

· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience

· Excel, SAP, SQL, Hyperion, Sales Force and Oracle

· Professional, eager and well-spoken

· Must be self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task

· Detail Oriented and Adaptability
