Accounting Manager & Hr Generalist

Cable's Roofing is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in our Tyler, Texas office. This person will manage all accounting procedures to ensure the company's overall financial health.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping along with general HR duties of a small company; very experienced with Quickbooks accounting (desktop versions); excellent attention to detail and general knowledge of regional laws/regulations pertaining to accounting and taxes.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
• Provide full charge bookkeeping services.
• Manage all accounting procedures and processes - Maintain financial reports, records and general ledgers for consistent bookkeeping and budgetary analysis.
• Provide general financial guidance - Interface confidentially with both leadership and clients to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Work with and under direction of company's CPA.
• Act as the HR Generalist - Submit weekly payroll to PEO service, assist with recruiting, onboarding, termination interviews, disciplinary actions, etc. Use JazzHR for recruiting.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Strong math skills
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to handle information confidentially
• Seasoned experience with Quickbooks (desktop version) accounting
• Experience with construction CRM software and integration with Quickbooks a big PLUS
• Familiarity with MS Word and Excel
• Experience with conducting accounts payable/receivable and collections
