- Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliation, cash management reports, and other GL accounting tasks
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Oversee quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual organization financial audit
- Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
- Manage a team of 3 people
- Collaborate with key Finance partners on development of processes, policies, systems, controls, compliance, fixed assets, revenue, inventory, close, etc.
- Perform ad hoc accounting based projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
- 5+ years of recent relevant accounting experience
- CPA a plus
- Strong accounting, quantitative and analytical skills, and ability to accurately apply key U.S. GAAP to different business situations
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Outstanding oral communication, analytical and written skills
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
- Strong familiarity with Month-end Journal Entries and Adjusting Journal Entries
- Manufacturing industry experience related to Packaging, Plastics, Rubber.
