Accounting Manager

RuffStuff is immediately looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team full time! We are an off road vehicle parts manufacturer in Loomis with 40 employees. We are searching for an accountant to take over for a long time team member who is retiring. The Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s accounting system and manage the current accounting clerk

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable
• Posting of payments from payment processor
• Accounts receivable- enter revenue from Ebay and Amazon
• Bank reconciliations
• Budgeting
• Payroll journal entries
• Financial statement preparation
• Supervise our Accounting Clerk (answering questions, assign tasks, etc.)
• Inventory calculations and management
• Sales Tax Returns (Split with Accounting Clerk)
• Light data entry
• Misc. typing/creating document
• Attend first half of Board Meetings to assist in going over financials
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be VERY experienced in Intuit QuickBooks
• Experience in accounting in a manufacturing company/environment a plus
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with E-commerce
• Understand the process to transition to inventory management software
• Experience or knowledge of product cost accounting
• Experience filing sales tax returns for multiple states
• Experience using Fishbowl a plus!

Education:

• High school diploma
• College not required but preferred

Pay: $29-$32 / hour Depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
