Job description
Previous Hotel experience preferred of at least 1 year.
Experience in the following programs will be a plus: Birchstreet, Opera.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review all ledger account reconciliations daily to include: Guest Ledger, AR Ledger, Revenues, adjustments and methods of payment.
Monitor coding of cash receipts, credit cards, and checks payments.
Audit all issued cashier associates banks monthly.
Prepare Monthly schedules for balancing of revenues from PMS/POS software to Accounting software.
Prepare assigned daily schedules according to procedures setup to ensure compliance with the Cresent DIJ process.
Route invoices to department heads for approval. Ensure account coding is accurate.
Process all approved invoices for payment - ensure all appropriate signatures and backup is attached.
Assist with vendor inquiries and statement reconciliation.
Assist Controller with compliance to the internal audit items covering the accounting department.
Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
