Job Description
COMC is looking to hire an Accounting Manageror Assistant Controller to lead all of our key accounting and audit efforts. With direct reporting to the CFO and opportunity to grow, you’ll play an instrumental role in helping us with our commitment to building a results-driven, thriving, and equitable environment through generating accurate financial data and building robust financial processes. You will have a high degree of visibility in the entire accounting and finance function and hence the opportunity to build a diverse set of experiences for your career. You will own key aspects of accounting and finance operations in addition to audit readiness. This cross-functional role interfaces with Operations, People Ops, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Product. The role will assist with multiple areas of our accounting operations including month-end-close, cost accounting, audit and financial reporting. You will be key to generating accurate historical financial data that inform critical business recommendations.

Job Responsibilities
- Own and oversee month-end and year-end close process.
- Own all aspects of the audit and other assurance reporting (Review, Audit).
- Review & manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Support and consult company’s personnel on accounting control procedures.
- Reconciliation of accounts.
- Maintain account balances and bank statements.
- Support business processes and accounting policies and prepare corresponding documentation.
- Inventory management.
- Maintaining the general ledger.
- Analysis of financial data for preparation of financial records and forecasting of budgets.
- Uphold COMC values, quality standards, and exemplify C.A.R.D. culture.
- Be a willing and collaborative partner to support all areas of the organization.
- Maintains high level of confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- CPA or currently enrolled to obtain your CPA.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Exceptional knowledge of GAAP, FS audit, accounting, and cost accounting.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills with a highly analytical mindset, and experience delivering on time-sensitive projects for senior executives.
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, own complex projects, and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Public Practice or a Big 4 accounting firm
